Navajo basket. Design of red stripe flanked by a chain of black triangles above and below. Paiute-made Navajo ceremonial basket. It is a coiled, shallow bowl with a 3-rod triangular foundation and a false-braided rim. The wefts are dyed red, black, and undyed natural gold.
